New Vice-Principal for 2017-2018 school year

We would like to congratulate Brandon Heck on being appointed Vice-Principal for the 2017-2018 school year.

Brandon is a University of Alberta graduate, who received his Bachelor of Education degree in 2008 and obtained a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University in 2016.

In the past nine years, Brandon has taught at St. Thomas Aquinas Middle School and St. Francis of Assisi Middle School in the areas of math, physical education, and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF). Brandon has also supported students, staff and parents in his current role as a school counsellor at St. Francis of Assisi Middle School. His leadership roles have included relief principalship positions, president of Red Deer Catholic Middle Schools Athletics, as well as an instructional leader of faith, project-based learning, and numeracy.

Brandon is a member of the St. Mary’s Parish and is a Eucharistic Minister. He has also been a member of the Children's’ Liturgy Team at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Brandon is currently enrolled in the graduate certificate in Catholic School Administration at Newman Theological College.
